This clipper uses a very powerful motor that delivers nearly 10,000 cycles per minute to the blade. This results in a very strong audible hum, but is completely normal to its operation. Dont settle for a weak clipper! Note: clipper has a power screw, it has been adjusted for peak efficiency before leaving the factory.
